Kairabani Dam

The Kairabani Dam is a water reservoir that forms part of the Kairabani Reservoir Scheme under the Water Resources Department of the Government of Jharkhand, India. It is an irrigation reservoir featuring a single canal and a spillway gate, serving the area by providing water for crop cultivation.
I particularly enjoy these types of dams, primarily because of their locations. The Kairabani Dam and similar dams are situated at least 2 kilometers away from any paved roads. These areas are typically surrounded by hills and are secluded from the noisy modern world. By default, any water body surrounded by hills has a stunning natural beauty, and the Kairabani Dam is no exception. Being there is always a pleasure, and here are some of those delightful moments captured in the form of photos.
